1 hour is a light tan
2 hours a medium tan
3 hours is a dark tan
And you can leave it on as long as 4 hours
This tan does not tan dark, it is advised that you actually leave this tan on for the full 4 hours to get the same colour as you would an original tan, but any longer would dry the skin out. But this tan does have the advantage of applying it before going out the same evening, and is loved also by men for this reason.
Holiday tanning
If applied before you go on holiday, then it will give you a nice colour so your not the fairest on your first day, your tan will develop through the St Tropez tan, this allows you to darken as your St Tropez tan fades, you must use an SPF as normal to protect your skin.
