At Abrona we use the St Tropez ultimate air tanning system.
This is a spray booth that you stand inside and your body will be sprayed upon by a qualified member of staff. You will be given appropriate items to use to protect your hair, soles of feet, and extras for your modesty.
What to do before you arrive.
For the perfect even tan, you should shower approx 12 hours before your appointment. Scrub your body in the shower from toes to top. This will remove any dead skin cells and allowing time also for the skin and natural oils to re-balance and your tan to be applied to fresh skin and will give longer, even, smooth wear.
(If you have ever had a tan go scaly, maybe on your decollete. Then this is because the skin has not been prepared correctly, this area can easily get missed)
What to bring with you.
When you come for your appointment, you will find it better to bring some loose clothing with you for after your treatment. This will allow the tan to breathe and develop to its full potential. We also recommend flip flops or sandals for your feet.
After your treatment.
Your tan will develop over the next 4-8 hours, then you may shower with a normal body shower wash, do not scrub or rub in the shower, leaving you with a beautiful developed tan underneath.
Moisturising your skin after your shower & daily (like you would a real tan) will prolong you tan, keeping the skin hydrated, leaving smooth tanned skin.
